Walk over Wallsteijn

Fancy a stroll just before or after dinner? Then this route across the Wallsteijn Estate is the perfect choice. This estate was built in 1800 by Frederik van de Wall, mayor of Zundert. You walk a bit along the Spiegeldreef, which tapers off on purpose, so that it appears longer than it is. With a bit of luck, you'll hear one of the nightingales that live on the estate singing. Just before you turn, you can catch a glimpse of the Spiegelvijver. Further on, you'll walk through the open hall forest. This forest owes its name to the straight trunks and the closed canopy that give the impression of a large hall. You'll also pass a hunting lodge and a bakehouse. The route ends at't Pannehûske.
