Route IJsselmeerdijk Hoorn - Warder

With this route you make a nice tour along the IJsselmeerdijk. First you drive a bit through the beautiful historic heart of Hoorn. Then you cycle onto the Westerdijk. Get a breath of fresh air, while looking out over the IJsselmeer. On the way you pass Scharwoude, further on in Schardam you will see the Reformed Church from 1662. At the lock is a monumental ban pole from 1761. It used to mark the city limits of Hoorn. The lock and former lockkeeper's houses are also monuments. Just before Warder you can visit the Etersheimer Braakmolen. In the adjacent visitor center"De Breek\\\" you can have a drink before you cycle into the polders via Warder. In Beets you can see some old farmhouses and the fifteenth-century Reformed Church. The route ends at Camperplaats and Jachthaven de Grashaven in Hoorn.
