Tholen is one of the smaller islands in Zeeland. You can smell the salty scent of the sea everywhere. With its picturesque towns and tranquil nature, it is a wonderful area for a day of cycling. The route starts and ends at Restaurant Smaek. You can enjoy a snack and drink on the terrace or in one of the lounge sofas. Get on your bike and a little later you have a beautiful view over the water of the Oosterschelde. A little later you cross the island and cycle towards Sint-Annaland, a typical old village. Here you can stop at Brasserie De Deu-braek. Be surprised by the varied menu! Then you cycle towards Stavenisse and Sint-Maartensdijk. Just past Sint-Maartensdijk you drive through De Pluimpot.
