This walk through the Dorth estate takes you back in time. It is an old estate; the first reports date from 1190. Initially, Hof te Dorth was a farmhouse with lands. Around 1600, a castle was built on the site of the house. A little later, a garden was also built; very special at the time. The garden is centuries old, the house is not. The castle was demolished a long time ago and replaced by a country house. That too was demolished: the current house dates from 1928.
At the car park there is also a marked hiking trail with red arrows... length 3 km.
