Description

With this route you visit Kerkdriel, an attractive village that is located on the branch of the Maas. The first part you walk on the dike. You pass the dike houses that are so characteristic of this region. Occasionally you have beautiful views of the rippling water. The Msgr. Zwijsenplein is the beating heart of Kerkdriel, where you will see a number of beautiful buildings. The eye-catcher is the former town hall from 1888, it was built in Neo-Renaissance style and has a bell tower with an onion crown. Further on you will pass the Sint-Martinuskerk from 1955. Its predecessor was destroyed in 1945 by the German occupiers. The new church was built in the style of the Bossche School. After your walk you can relax further at EuroParcs Resort Aan De Maas.
