Tour of hamlets and heathland near Mierlo

You will find plenty of natural beauty around Helmond. Three of the four centers that make up the city of Helmond are former villages (Mierlo-Hout, Brouwhuis and Stiphout). They have each managed to retain their village appearance and atmosphere. Today's route takes you through the Mierlo area. You walk through small-scale nature reserves and old picturesque hamlets. You can walk straight from the B&B into the rural countryside, where you will discover Het Broek. Because of its characteristic long-fronted farms, the hamlet has a protected village view. You also walk through and past the forests of the Luchense Heide, which extend all the way to Molenheide.
