Description
Hoogvliet is a part of Rotterdam where you can enjoy beautiful walks. First you walk through the historic Dorpsstraat. When you arrive at the roundabout you will see the old Village Church on the other side. Further on you pass the Oosterbaken, a 99 meter high residential tower. You walk through the Oedevlietsepark to the quay of the Oude Maas. Here you can enjoy a peaceful walk through the wooded area. Back at Fietscafé de Aveling it is time for a delicious lunch. You then start the second loop of this route. It takes you along a quiet road past grassy meadows: a special place in the Rotterdam metropolis. You also walk a bit along the quay of the Oude Maas. At Fietscafé de Aveling you can enjoy a drink.
