Tour Oud-Beijerland, Spijkenisse and Hoogvliet

This route takes you first to the Hoeksche Waard. From the dike you have a beautiful view over the marina of Nieuw-Beijerland and Het Spui, a tidal river that was created during a flood in the sixteenth century. You will also see some beautiful farms and De Swaen, a former flour mill from 1703. You will drive along the meadows on low-traffic roads to Westmaas and Mijnsheerenland, two villages on the Dammed Maas. In the port of Oud-Beijerland, you can take a ferry and cycle to Hoogvliet. Here you can get off for a pit stop at Bicycle Café de Aveling. Enjoy a tasty lunch, so that you continue your route full of energy. The last part of the route you drive along the green banks of the Oude Maas. Time to get some fresh air.
