Beer route Sittard

The beer route first leads you to Tapperie de Gats: located in the oldest building in Sittard, dating from 1535. An old brown café behind a facade of authentic German half-timbering. Being together with one of the many types of specialty beer in hand, enjoying a lunch or dinner of Limburg regional dishes from Dutch and Belgian Limburg: Tapperie de Gats stands for Burgundian enjoyment. One of the best cafes in Limburg.
A little further on the Markt you will find Tasting Room't Hophuys, where you can try the brews of the associated Hophouse Brewing. They are experimenting with a small 50 liter brewing installation and developing their Trial & Error Series (TRL+RRR) here. With 20 taps in the tasting room, there is always something to suit your taste.
Just away from the Market you will discover another brewer: Ambrass. You can order their beer at Tapperie de Gats, but on Friday and Saturday you can also buy the bottles directly from the brewery. They also do tours and tastings by appointment.
