Round Brachterwald & Bruggen

This route starts at Camping Aan de Grens. Here you camp on the edge of Grenspark Maas-Swalm-Nette, a nature reserve that extends into Germany. You can just encounter deer and wild boar. For a beer you can walk from the farm campsite to Café de Bosrand, a real brown café. Good food is also within walking distance, at Herberg de Bos. Or take your mountain bike to De Witte Stein and cycle straight through the Brachter Wald, past what was once the largest ammunition depot in Western Europe. With our own cycling route you will immediately discover the nice German town of Brüggen.
