Kick through between Ham and crown

This route starts in the Gerheserheide area. This area is more than 200 hectares, the history of which goes back about 10,000 years. Until the 19th century, this area was a vast heathland. Now the image of sandy soils and dunes covered with pine forests remains. You can walk for hours through the Hamse walking network. Along quiet roads, this route takes you to the Pijnven nature reserve in Hechtel-Eksel. Here starts at node 272"cycling through the trees\\\", an iconic bicycle bridge that allows you to cycle between the crowns of the trees. This bicycle bridge, with a double circle, has a diameter of 100 m and is no less than 700 m long. At the top you have a beautiful view of nature in Bosland.
