Tour of parks and Onze Lieve Vrouweplein Maastricht

Your route starts at Camperplaats Maastricht. The Frontenpark is an exciting and rough piece of nature in the city: the rugged backyard of the Sphinxkwartier. Then you walk through the Stadspark into the Jekerkwartier. Because of the many old buildings and the remains of the city wall, you can experience a wonderfully characteristic historical atmosphere here. Like at the beautiful Helppoort. Grab a terrace on Onze Lieve Vrouweplein, in the oldest part of the city. This church was for centuries a strong power factor in the city. Via the cozy Markt you walk to a more modern part of the city and discover the wharf cellars of't Bassin with their restaurants, grand cafés, shops and galleries. In the summer it has a Mediterranean feel here with the terraces on the water!
