Tour of Grensmaas: Borgharen, Maastricht and Eijsden

Your route starts at Camperplaats Maastricht. In the Maas Valley you cycle on a car-free road between grasslands and fields. Itteren is a beautiful church village. Here you will see, among other things, the St. Martin's Church from 1784. You will also pass the moated medieval Borgharen Castle, a beautiful sight! Then you cycle through the city again. If you want to get off, cycle into the nice Wyck district! Via a small piece of Heuvelland you arrive back at the Maas. In Eijsden you see monumental mansions on the Diepstraat and the old Maaskade. You can cross the Maas on a ferry, nice and nostalgic! You cycle through the Flemish border village of Kanne where you have a view of the Sint-Pietersberg. Drive along the Jeker river into the old city center of Maastricht with its historic sights.
