Tour of Geul and Schweibergerbos

Your route starts at Geulhof Mechelen. On the other side of the Geul is the picturesque Mechelen, a village where you see characteristic half-timbered houses and where the church stands on a church hill. You walk along the beautifully meandering Geul to Epen. The Schoutenhof estate offers you a beautiful view of the hills and forests that connect directly to the estate's park, high up in the rolling landscape. In Höfke and Schweiberg, the centuries-old half-timbered houses give you the feeling that time has stood still a bit. The route leads through the Schweibergerbosch, a real slope forest. The Bissen gravel farm is located in the Schweibergerbos. When you walk out of the slope forest, you enjoy lovely views over the valley.
