On car-free roads you drive past vast meadows to Oudkarspel. Here you will see some beautiful buildings, such as the Allemanskerk, the oldest parts of which date from the eleventh century date. The Regthuis is a museum that is located in the former town hall from 1744. Further on you drive past the Geestmerambacht, a recreational area of meadows and groves. In Schoorl you can get off at Restaurant Honky Tonk. Enjoy a tasty lunch at your leisure before cycling to Groet. Here you pass the beautiful Witte Kerkje from 1639. The pattern of meadows and ditches that you see in the Harger and Pettemerpolder has been there since the Middle Ages. Here you see the Groetermolen and the Hargermolen. You can enjoy the silence in the Pettemerduinen, after which you cycle through the centuries-old Hazepolder.
