Discover the forests near Bergeijk

This cycling route takes you through the southeast of Brabant. In Bergeijk you can see, among other things, the fifteenth-century St. Peter's Bandenkerk. In Luyksgestel you pass the Border Guard, a flour mill from 1891. Then it is time for the forest. Lots of forest, because you drive through Boswachterij de Kempen. While you cycle here, you make a shortcut through Belgium. Not that you notice it much, because you keep driving through the woods. You can imagine that a lot of butter and tobacco was smuggled here in the past. In the woods of the Peelse Heide you cycle along the Kleine and Groote Cirkel. Further on you drive a bit along the Cartierheide. Back in Bergeijk it is time for a drink and a snack on the terrace of Hotel Restaurant BEAU.
