This rural and car-free nature route around the city of Utrecht combines a lot of water, a bit of woods and meadows, and a few forts. Wide views!
The route is also easy to cycle in parts - the Dom is never far away.
The most beautiful stopping places in Houten, Nieuwegein, Oud-Zuilen, De Bilt and Amelisweerd are also visited.
I regularly cycle this route with my two-year-old son in front, for example three times an hour and a half. Success and fun guaranteed!
