Description
from TOP De Schammer the route takes you past the old town of Amersfoort via the cycle path on the eastern bank of the Eem to the former fishing village of Spakenburg. The museum with memories of the Zuiderzee fishing and traditional costumes is very worthwhile. From Spakenburg you cycle over the dike of the former Zuiderzee, now the Nijkerkernauw. The cycle tour returns via the town of Nijkerk through the rural area of the Gelderse Vallei to TOP De Schammer.
