From Camping De Vledders you can easily drive into the Drentsche Aa national stream and esdorp landscape. Time seems to have stood still here, because the landscape has not changed much over the past 150 years. Forest, heathland and stream valleys with flowery grasslands alternate here. You also cycle through characteristic Drenthe villages such as Gasteren, Anloo, Taarlo and Oudemolen. Here you will see beautiful Saxon farms, but also old churches, such as the Magnus Church in Anloo. There are also a number of dolmens along your route, such as at Eext. In Rolde you will pass two dolmens and the church green with the fifteenth-century Jacobuskerk a short distance away. In addition to a rich cultural history, you will also find an almost old-fashioned silence in this region: ideal for a day of relaxation!

Camping the way it's meant to be! You camp on spacious camping pitches, close to the recreational lake, along the edge of the forest, between hedges or on open fields, near the sports field or the meadow with the ponies. This charming campsite in Drenthe has one of the oldest and most beautiful campsites in the Netherlands. The original farm, which has been camping since 1920, was transformed into a beautiful campsite in 1978. You can make the most beautiful walking and cycling trips from the campsite. You camp here in the middle of the Drentsche Aa National Park, near the cozy village of Zuidlaren. During your stay you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a quick bite on the terrace.
