Drenthe Dolmens Tour along the Aa

From Camping De Vledders, you'll enter the Drentsche Aa National Stream and Esdorp Landscape. Time seems to have stood still here, as the landscape hasn't changed much over the past 150 years. Forest, heathland, and stream valleys interspersed with flower-filled meadows. You'll also cycle through characteristic Drenthe village greens like Gasteren, Anloo, Taarlo, and Oudemolen. You'll see beautiful Saxon farmhouses, as well as old churches, such as the Magnus Church in Anloo. Several dolmens are also located along your route, such as those near Eext. In Rolde, you'll pass two dolmens and the church green with the 15th-century Jacobus Church, just a short distance away.
