Description

Pachthof van de 7 Slapers walk: our favorite walk, about 6.5 km. You can also shorten the walk to 3 km + 3.5 km.

You start at the Pachthof van de 7 Slapers, Goedestraat 37, 3078 Meerbeek. You can go there for a bottle cava, wine, vermouth and possibly a picnic for the road ( picnic only possible with purchase wine or cava: www.zevenslapers.be )

You walk along fields, forests, sunken roads and enjoy the ever-changing landscape. Beautiful walk in all seasons. Mud is part of it, not accessible for wheelchairs and prams.

Follow the Goedestraat towards Dorpsstraat .
Cross at the chapel of Sint-Antonius, patron saint of Meerbeek towards Onze Lieve Heerstraat.
Take the 2nd street RIGHT and follow the cobblestone road (= Onze Lieve Heerstraat ).
At camping HELIOS you go straight ahead. You cross Grevensweg further on and take the small path STRAIGHT AHEAD , up.
Still straight. On the left you look out over the field, on the right you walk along the forest.
Where the forest stops, turn RIGHT .
At the end of this field, at the next intersection, go RIGHT down.
Down you follow this road to the LEFT . This is neighborhood road 5.
At the intersection , at the place where you see a name sign' Buurtweg 5', you go to the RIGHT . You walk between the fields.
At the end of the field go STRAIGHT on the narrow path. The path rises, bends at the top to the right and then to the left in the direction of the trees. You pass a bank . (here it is very nice to have a picnic)
You go STRAIGHT on this sunken road.
At the end of the road turn RIGHT . The path becomes a street, the Bergstraat .
At the end of Bergstraat turn RIGHT . This is the Vernageldestraat . You walk towards the forest.
In the forest, follow the path to the LEFT until you reach the field.
Follow the path STRAIGHT ON .
At the intersection with Terbankbosweg , turn LEFT .
At the intersection with the Meerbeeksesteenweg , cross over. Turn LEFT .
A little further on you follow the' Hill side walk' through the field.
At the intersection, go LEFT .
You will enter the GOEDESTRAAT again.

farm walk 17: At the end of the forest road LEFT, you go left along the forest where you just walked through

farm walk 18: Keep LEFT following the path along the forest, you will see a house

leasehold walk 19: the path ends on the road. Go straight ahead

leasehold walk 20: after the cobblestone road you go LEFT

leasehold walk 21: Cross over, go to Goedestraat 37 - Pachthof van de 7 Sleepers
