Beverdijk walking route

The IJzerbroeken form the border between the polders and the sandy loam region that lies further inland. This wetland landscape is a great starting point for the discovery of the Westhoek. You depart from the charming village of Pollinkhove, a sub-municipality of Lo-Reninge. The Lovaart takes you to the lock complex of Fintele. Here you continue to follow the towpath of the Yser. You walk along the ancient Veurne-Ambacht dike and the vast grasslands of the Kievitshoek to the Grote Beverdijkvaart. The Hullebrugweg refers to an arched bridge over the Lovaart.
