Tour of Junne and the Vechtdal

Your route starts at Camping Huttopia de Roos. The Overijssel Vechtdal is a discovery. Follow the water and you'll naturally pass centuries-old estates, village greens, and towns. The meandering river and the beautiful scenery complete your day out. Today you'll walk along the Overijssel Vecht, following narrow paths past swaying reeds and through forests. You'll also see small, rounded fields surrounded by hedgerows. In this beautiful landscape, you'll discover the Junne estate, which you'll walk right through. Junne is a centuries-old hamlet that still largely consists of Saxon farms. This small hamlet came into the possession of Delta Lloyd in the late 1930s, which uses the houses as holiday homes for its employees. Not a bad place for a holiday, as you can see!
