Museum Havezate Mensinge:

The first mention is in 1381 as a fief of the Bishop of Utrecht. From 1480 - 1721 the house was owned by the noble Groningen family van Ewsum. Around 1728 the house took the shape it still has today. In 1818 Jan Wilmsonn Kymmel became owner of Mensinge. Until 1985, Mensinge was owned by the Kymmell family. In this year the estate was sold to the then municipality of Roden. After a thorough restoration, Havezate Mensinge has been open as a museum since 1988.

Roden petting zoo:

The petting zoo consists of a few fields with enclosures for goats, ponies, sheep, llamas, rabbits, kangaroos, guinea pigs and everything else found on a petting zoo. all these animals can be touched and cuddled and one can move freely among them. In separate enclosed areas you can admire deer, swans and other water birds, including beautiful species of ducks. There is also a beautiful birdhouse with exotic birds.

The Paisermeul (the Peize mill):

The mill was built in 1898 from parts of the oil, peel and rye mill from Enumatil and has now been standing as"Paiser Meul\\\" for 100 years at its current location on the mill path in Peize.
