Description
From the heart of Elst you can take a nice bike ride through Park Lingezegen, a region rich in nature. You soon pick up the path along the Linge. Initially you cycle along the canalized part of this river. From the saddle you have a beautiful view of a mix of water and wooded nature and agricultural landscapes. From junction 9 you drive along the originally meandering course of the Linge. Further on you will pass Castle Doornenburg. This beautiful castle is one of the largest and best preserved castles in the Netherlands. So worth a visit. From the Waaldijk you have a beautiful view over the rippling water, the boats and the Gendtse and Bemmelerwaard. In Bemmel you can take a look at De Kinkelenburg Castle.
