Description

A new route in the west of the Danish island of Zealand is the Ice Age Route. This themed route of 390 kilometers shows the beautiful legacy of the Ice Age, divided into five stages, along fjords, coast and through forests.

The Ice Age Route, in Danish"Istidsruten\\\", starts - or ends - in the Odsherred region in western Zealand or in the historic town of Sorø, south of the region. The main route consists of 280 kilometers of cycling pleasure. If you include the 110 kilometers of extra loops, there are 390. Those who want to shorten the route simply take their bicycle on the train (reservation is required). There are thirteen stations along the route.

Often nice trips have been mapped out and you only have to follow the directions, but you can also go on an adventure yourself and see where you end up.
