Description
The route goes along the front deep and canal outside Schoonoord to the village of Buinen. Here a nice piece along a small nature reserve. Along the brook outside Schoonoord and the aft deep it goes to Drouwenerveen. From there it is only a short distance to the Hunze valley near Gasselternijveen with the windmill De Juffer.
Wear good footwear as the paths along the streams can be very wet.
