Tour of Zoutelande and Middelburg from Vlissingen

From the heart of Vlissingen you quickly drive through the Nollebos, a nature reserve that was created in the thirties of the last century on the site of the former Fort De Nolle. You then drive many kilometers through a succession of small plots of deciduous forest, meadows and villages such as Dishoek and the cozy Zoutelande. You drive a long way behind the dunes, a beautifully varied area! Afterwards you can get a breath of fresh air in the polders while you discover villages such as Meliskerke. In Middelburg there are many beautiful old buildings on the inner harbor, it is wonderful to taste the atmosphere. Middelburg was the second most important city in the Netherlands at the time of the VOC, you can still see a lot of this golden age!
