Tour of Walcheren from Vlissingen

The first part of the route you drive a long way behind the dunes. One moment you are driving through a beautiful forest, the next along meadows or a creek. In between you cycle through Zoutelande, a charming village where you can admire the beautiful Catharina Church on the ring road. In the distance you can see the Westkapelle Hoog, an almost 50 meter high church tower from 1470 that now serves as a lighthouse. You will also pass Westkapelle itself. From the Zeedijk you have a beautiful view over the low-lying town and the North Sea. Further on you drive through the pleasant seaside resort of Domburg. On the Markt you can see the former town hall from 1567 and the fifteenth-century church. You drive back via the old Veere and Middelburg.
