2015 Limburg Ascension 2015

Cycled on May 14, 2015. The weather was better than expected. Lots of sun, little wind and not too hot (around 18 degrees). Beautiful route, both on the Belgian side and on the Dutch side. Started in Leut. At the beginning of the route there are several places to drink coffee and possibly have a quick lunch. In our case, we often start that way.

If desired, the part via Stein and Maasmechelen can be cut off on the way back.  You can take the ferry from Berg a/d Maas to Meeswijk (B) for free. This saves almost 10 km on the total route.

This route through the Maas valley is very nice to cycle once. Just like other routes along the Limburgse Maas, it is really something to experience for yourself. I bet almost everyone likes this.
