Description
The route starts and ends at the church square in Geesteren. This church is unique in Europe because of the gable roof with stepped gables and not only a weathercock but also a weatherhen.
You leave Geesteren via the Rotmansdieksken in the direction of Borculo. After a while you will pass the weir in the Berkel. Here the stream, which branches off above Borculo and flows through Borculo, returns to the Berkel. A fish ladder has recently been constructed here.
