Tour of the most beautiful spots in South Limburg

Your cycling route starts at Berghotel Vue. You'll first cycle towards Ingendael: a wonderfully tranquil nature reserve with flower-filled meadows through which the Geul River meanders. Here you'll pass Sint Gerlach Castle, built as a monastery in the 12th century. It wasn't until the 19th century that the monastery was converted into a castle. Afterwards, stop for a coffee at the Black Label Hotel, on the outskirts of Valkenburg. Via Schin op Geul and Slenaken, you'll cycle to the Voer region. Along the way, you'll discover Groenendaal: a large 19th-century farmstead that was once a castle. The Voer region is a collection of villages nestled among beautiful green hills. 's-Gravenvoeren, for example, developed as a ribbon village along the Voer River, with numerous footbridges spanning the water to the houses.
