From Valkenburg -de Kluis- along the Geul to Wijlre, via the plateau of Margraten and Sint Jansbos back again.

This walk is on unpaved paths as much as possible. The route starts at the Kluis , the former hermitage on the Schaelsberg. You first descend to the Geul, where you first walk close to the Geul without height differences via Schin op Geul to Wijlre. From there it goes up towards the plateau of Margraten. From here there are a few climbs in the route. You will ascend a total of 220 vertical meters on this tour.

The tour continues via hollow roads, field roads, forest edge and forest paths, eventually you return to Valkenburg through the Sint Jansbos. You will return to the Geul along the pond of the Geulpark. A final climb brings you back to the starting point.
