Description
This walking route goes through"Heerlijkheid Beek\\\" with steep climbs and beautiful descents. The route runs from the starting point at the large church I Beek over the ridge towards Ubbergen. We start low but soon the first hills come with sometimes stairs to make it a bit easier. The beauty of this route is that there are many beautiful vistas and viewpoints. In short, a walk that asks a bit of you in terms of condition, but in return you get a beautiful trip.
This route is also suitable for Nordic Walking, there are parts on paved roads so take the caps with you.
The starting point is at the parking lot at the Kerkberg (with navigation search on Kerkberg 3) at the large church in Beek. Then walk into De Geest and you will automatically end up on the forest path.
ps Take a moment to think about De Kabouterboom, a well-known area in the area and popular with young children. The gnome route is indicated with wooden mushrooms.
