MUSIC Kiosks ROUTE
We cycled this route on May 8, 2015. We are a singing group and we wanted to visit villages with music kiosks and sing in these kiosks.
We dropped off our bikes in Son. We started with a nice cup of coffee and cake on the terrace of Restaurant De Zwaan. Lovely in the sun.
Then we sang a few songs in the kiosk. It sounded delicious.
From the Zwaan we crossed the Dommel via a cycle path, cycled past the Sauna to junction 51. From there via nodes 52 and 23 to node 68.
At restaurant De Pelgrim in Mariahout we had a delicious soup. We then sang a few balads in the cave of Mary opposite.
Cycled via junction 68 to junction 63. On the way we passed the music kiosk of Lieshout and we also sang about it. We got a little round of applause here ourselves!
Continue to junction 59. We followed the road and our next kiosk was on the Kouwenberg. A little further we settled on the terrace of Tante Pollewop. We had an appetizer there. The local police officer approached us (8 women attract attention) and we also sang a song for him. He was very impressed he tweeted. We also sang to the hostess and then we continued our journey towards Nuenen. Here we got into a bit of a mess with the nodes: node 60 was not indicated, but a node 06 was. We suspected that this had changed, but afterwards node 06 cannot be found on the site either. Foreign. We followed the old familiar signs and drove past Croy Castle to Nuenen.
In the Park we enjoyed José's traditional bubbles and sang Happy Birthday (the treat was before her birthday ;-) and we also sang about the kiosk in Nuenen.
From there we cycled straight home because of the time. We will do the last part of this cycle route another time???
A large dining table was ready at home where we enjoyed a delicious asparagus meal together with our men.
