Description
The route starts at the parking lot of the Racketcentrum Kapelle, located just outside the center of Kapelle. There is ample free parking.
Via the edge of the village you walk along the canal towards Wemeldinge, where you enter the village at the marina. The 2 old mills are certainly eye-catchers there! You walk through the old center, where you can view beautiful picturesque facades and streets.
When you walk out of the center, the landscape changes into vast meadows and fruit orchards. Are you in the right season and is the farmer not looking? Then bring a nice apple!
Kapelle gradually comes into view again and you walk back towards the parking lot.
Most of the route is on asphalted paths. Once a small piece through a grassland with a slight elevation and once a slightly longer piece along a meadow was used for arable farming.
