Tour of Klein-Boeschoten from Garderen

Your route starts at Bospark de Wervelwind, near Garderen. From here you walk straight through the woods to Klein Boeschoten, a private estate on the western edge of the Veluwe. The estate is freely accessible to walkers and limited to cyclists. Here you can still see the original set-up of the medieval game forsters estate. The game forsters goods belonged to the counts of Guelders. The yard with a farm, two sheepfolds and a haystack is surrounded by monumental oaks, fields and the old oak forest. Nowadays you will find an organic arable farm here. The mixed forests have remained, for the natural value and wood production. This is one of the best preserved and oldest camp reclamations in the forest area of the Veluwe, with one of the most beautiful embankment systems. Very special to experience!
