Your route starts at Bospark de Wervelwind, near Garderen. In addition to forest, you will also encounter a lot of heathland on this route: the Veluwe is so varied! The Houtdorperveld is one of the largest heathlands in the Netherlands. You can enjoy beautiful panoramas. From here you cycle straight through nature to Hoog-Soeren. This characteristic hamlet is one of the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. In Apeldoorn you can enjoy the beautiful monumental buildings. Then you cycle on to Kootwijk, in this village you will find nice places to stop for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. Kootwijk is known for the Kootwijkerzand: an unexpected desert-like sand plain of about 700 hectares where plants reach full maturity under harsh conditions. A very special area!
