Tour through the Needse Achterveld

Your route starts with a cup of coffee at Camping Den Blanken. Then you put on your walking shoes. Yellow predominates on the beautiful Needse Achterveld. The nature you see here has largely been allowed to take its course, because because the soils are wet, the terrain has hardly been developed as agricultural area. Flowering brambles and narrow, winding paths that pass under stately oak trees deeper into the Needse Achterveld bring a serene tranquility. The surrounding fields and fields are also returned to nature, so that the area becomes larger. White cow parsley grows at the edges of the fields, on the roadsides, and the meandering Schipbeek completes your tour. You walk back and forth along the water to this special nature reserve.
