Walking around from Zeeland to Maashorst

Your route starts with a cup of coffee on the beautiful terrace of De Pastorie. Once you have put on your walking shoes, take a nice tour through nature. You walk past a swimming lake into the forest. De Maashorst is one of the largest contiguous nature reserves in North Brabant. Here you walk in a varied natural and cultural landscape of forests, heaths, drifting dunes, fens, meadows and winding streams. You continue to Zeeland via small hamlets with unusual names such as Zevenhuis and Voederheil. On the way back you will see the Coppens Mill. Stop here for a moment and take a look at the special building. The belt mill was probably built in 1883. The upper mill replaced a post mill, many parts of which were repurposed into this windmill.
