Description
The walk starts at the parking lot at the bridge next to the glider airfield in Malden. The Mulderskop heath area is close to the starting point, it is advisable to start in that direction, it is just a bit nicer to oversee than from the other direction.
Cross the road from the parking lot, go over the bridge and immediately turn right onto the sand path on. Here you walk along and later over Mulderskop. After crossing the Bisseltsebaan, the route goes through the woods of the Hooge Hoenderberg.
The last part of the walk we descend from the woods back to the glider airfield.
The route has height differences resulting in a few climbs with a beautiful view, especially on Mulderskop.
This is also a suitable walking route for Nordic Walkers on unpaved paths.
