Tour of Loenermark and Brummen estates

Your cycle route starts at Camping De Vinkenkamp, on the edge of the Veluwe. The Brummen estates include the Leusveld and Voorstonden estates and the Empese and Tondense Heide nature reserves. They have been designated as Natura 2000 areas: a European network of nature reserves, intended to preserve the rich biodiversity in Europe. A little later you will cycle into the vast forests of the Veluwe. The Loenermark is a beautifully varied area with, in addition to forests, also rolling heathlands and a sheepfold. Then you cycle along the Vrijenbergerspreng back to your starting point. On the way you will pass the Loenense waterfall: the highest waterfall in the Netherlands. This reduces the flow in the stream, which has a drop of about 15 meters over a length of 6.5 km. Special to see!
