Walking tour of estates around Raalte

Your walk starts with a cup of coffee and something tasty at Lunchroom and bakery Van der Most - Raalte. The low-lying part of Salland alternates between farmland, nature reserve and historic estates with old port properties. Regional products are sold on many farms. You pass De Velner Castle, founded in 1382. The canals are still beautifully visible, and only a farm remains from the Middle Ages on the site of the left building. Between Heino and Raalte, the beautiful forests and meadows of the Reelaer estate appear, with a group of trees here and there.
