Walking tour of estates around Raalte

Your walk starts with a cup of coffee and something tasty at Lunchroom and bakery Van der Most - Raalte. The low-lying part of Salland alternates between farmland, nature reserve and historic estates with old harbours. Regional products are sold on many farms. You will pass Kasteel De Velner, founded in 1382. The canals are still clearly visible, otherwise only a farm on the site of the left building house remains from the Middle Ages. Between Heino and Raalte, the beautiful forests and meadows of the Reelaer estate appear, with a group of trees here and there.
