In the North Holland polders you can enjoy the characteristic landscape again. If you feel like going for a walk after your return, dive into Wildrijk. This nice nature reserve is just across the road from the bungalow park, you can get there in no time! It was constructed as a country estate, in the west of the Zijperpolder there used to be several wooded country estates of wealthy Amsterdam merchants. During the digging of the Noordhollandsch Kanaal, much forest was cut down by camping workers, but fortunately the Wild Kingdom was spared.
