A tour of the beach and dunes at Sint Maartenszee

Here you will discover the Pettemerduinen and the Zwanenwater: a relatively unknown, so wonderfully quiet nature reserve. Enjoy a breath of fresh air by the sea! In the North Holland polders you can enjoy the characteristic landscape again. If you feel like walking a bit after your return, dive into Wildrijk. This nice nature reserve is just across the road from the bungalow park, you'll be there in no time! It was laid out as a country estate, in the west of the Zijperpolder there used to be several wooded country estates of wealthy Amsterdam merchants. During the digging of the Noordhollandsch Kanaal, a lot of forest was cut down by camping workers, but the Wildrijk was fortunately spared.
