Tour of Eynderhoof, Leudal and Groote Peel

Your cycling route starts at Recreation Park De Leistert. From here, you cycle straight into the Leudal. The nature reserve is bisected by the meandering Tungelroyse Beek, known here as the Leubeek. In the Leudal, you will find a mix of wet and dry forests. You will see beautiful stream valleys, forest fens, and inland dunes. Stop briefly in Nederweert-Eind for a visit to the Limburg Open Air Museum Eynderhoof, which is dedicated to life in the Peel region around 1900. Well worth it! On the way back, you cycle past De Groote Peel National Park. In the past, the raised bog of which this is a remnant covered about 30,000 hectares.
