Cycling around the Westland

This route takes you through the Westland. During this tour you will see the impressive greenhouse complexes that give this area the name of the Glass City. But also surprising nature reserves and an old polder landscape intersected by watercourses. You will soon cycle past the unique nature reserve De Zeven Gaten. A little later you drive past the Wollebrand, which is partly used as a recreational lake, but also serves as a natural water storage. Just before and after Maasland you will pass three windmills. Worth checking them out! Just outside Hoek van Holland you cycle through the Staelduinse Bos, a forest area of approximately 95 hectares.
