Cycling through the Vechtdal between Ommen and Hardenberg

Between Ommen and Hardenberg, a region full of natural beauty and quiet roads awaits you: the Vechtdal. One moment you are driving through the woods, the next you are cycling past flowery meadows and the rippling water of the Vecht. There is also no shortage of nice places. For example, you cycle through Rheeze: one of the most beautiful villages in Overijssel. You will see centuries-old Saxon farms surrounded by meadows and stately old trees. You cross the Vecht, after which you can get off at Vechtdal Hooglanders to visit the local shop. A little later you cycle through Beerze, a picturesque village. You drive through the woods to Nieuwebrug and Giethem, after which you drive back to Besthmen on the old church path. At't Laarbos Pannenkoeken & Meer you can enjoy a delicious meal.
