Description
The Raamdalpad is a nature walk through the area northeast of Zeeland. The walk partly runs on dirt roads and chimneys and is unfortunately not suitable for the disabled, prams and pushchairs. The route runs through the hamlets of Kreitsberg, Duifhuis and Hoefkens and passes farms, meadows and fields and runs through the valley of the Hooge Raam stream. The agricultural area consists of large-scale fields and meadows, created in the 1960s by land consolidation. The narrow ditches and wooded banks have largely disappeared at the time. In the recent land consolidation, the stream valley was partly redesigned and new nature connections were created. As a result, in addition to panoramic views, the area again offers interesting biotopes with special natural values.
