Tour of Springendal near Ootmarsum

A little later you enter the forests of the Springendal. This nature reserve was created in 1920 by an Enschede textile baron in the style of an English estate. The crystal clear water of the streams comes from springs that bubble up from the ground in the Springendal. Then you walk to the small village of Nutter with its authentic farms. What a pleasure it is to walk here! In the Nutter area you can enjoy the tranquility of the Hezinger and Nutter Esch. You walk through a gently sloping landscape where fields on the ash alternate with groves and meadows. Everywhere you experience that surprisingly pleasant Twente peace and conviviality.
