Discover the Haps and Cuijk area over the De Maasover bicycle bridge

Your cycling route starts near the Wanrooijse Bergen. In the Sint Anthonisbos it is quiet driving between Scots pines and deciduous trees. Further on you will pass the new Cuijk bicycle bridge. The Kraaijenbergse Plassen, an area of over 400 hectares, was created around 1968 by the extraction of sand, gravel and clay. The area extends parallel to the Maas. Parts of the lakes are used for sailing, surfing, swimming or fishing, but other parts are part of a newly created nature reserve and serve as a rest area for aquatic animals. The village of Linden is almost completely surrounded by water. Stop off in Haps at IJs & Spijs, one of the best ice cream parlors in the Netherlands! In the village you will also see the neo-Gothic St. Nicholas Church from 1899.
