Sint Anthonis, North Brabant, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 1990510
Provided by: Groots Genieten
Your cycling route starts near the Wanrooijse Bergen. In the Sint Anthonisbos, you can enjoy a peaceful ride among Scots pines and deciduous trees. Further on, you'll pass the new Cuijk cycle bridge. The Kraaijenbergse Plassen, an area of over 400 hectares, were created around 1968 through the extraction of sand, gravel, and clay. The area stretches parallel to the Meuse River. Parts of the lakes are used for sailing, surfing, swimming, and fishing, while other areas are part of a newly developed nature reserve and serve as a haven for aquatic animals. The village of Linden is almost entirely surrounded by water. In the village, you'll also see the neo-Gothic St. Nicholas Church from 1899.
